ZipRider
Characteristics
ZipRider is a long zip line cable ride built on the principle of popular, simple zip lines, but its technology far exceeds anything you could imagine possible. It approaches speeds of up to 100 km per hour and can cover distances of several kilometers.
Description
The principle consists of two stations, one upper and one lower, built on an incline of 5 – 40 degrees connected by bulky steel wire ropes. Participants slide down safely buckled into special seats suspended from special ZipRider patented pulleys that automatically brake during the slide. A safe braking system is installed at the end of all lines to ensure a smooth stop for riders. A track with multiple zip lines enables several individuals (2-6) to ride down at once. Unlike other attractions (e.g. some types of sled tracks), which are dependent on the client’s control, the ZipRider works entirely automatically and clients therefore cannot influence or interfere with anything. The ZipRider has the international TUV certification.
Who are they suitable for
The ZipRider is distinguished by its high client capacity and is meant for anyone who loves adrenaline and a fast, safe ride.
Staff requirements
Minimal with the possibility of year-round operation.
Where and on what to build them
Ropes are suspended on freestanding steel structures and installing a ZipRider is possible practically anywhere with a steep incline. Mountainous regions, ski centers, deep valleys, etc., are particularly suitable.
Project Outdoor is the sole distributor for the ZipRider in Central and Eastern Europe. Please contact us for details and arrange for a visit by one of our employees.
