Characteristics

Rope elements are a useful tool for developing dexterity, strength, balance and problem-solving skills. We believe that these abilities play an important role in our children’s development, and therefore we have designed an attractive ropes playground where children can play and develop their skills at the same time.

Description

Children’s ropes playgrounds are comprised of low ropes elements installed on acacia posts at a safe height above the ground. The elements can be arranged one after the other to form a track, or else individually arranged according to the investor’s needs. Small stepping platforms are embedded in the posts to allow children easier access to the elements. Vertical elements are part of a house that can be placed at the end of the track or used as an independent play area.   

The surface underneath the elements is set up with a safety shock-absorbing area.  We offer various types of materials, from natural (sand, wood chips, gravel) to modern artificial shock-absorbing areas (rubber flooring, poured-in-place polyurethane surface).

Children from 3 to 12 years old

Operation requirements

Playground inspection and maintenance is governed by the norms for children’s playgrounds EN 1176. The operator must procure at least these 3 types of inspections:

• ordinary visual – daily, to detect obvious signs of danger caused in particular by vandalism
• operational – once every 1 to 3 months, functional inspection of the equipment’s serviceability
• annual main inspection – at least once every 12 months, the purpose is to ensure the overall level of equipment safety

Where and what to build on

Our sets can be used as independent children’s playgrounds; individual components are certified pursuant to relevant norms (EN 1176) and have been issued a declaration of conformity. In addition to acacia or oak posts, the elements can also be installed on trees.
